What is your job at AFC and how do you support the independent dealer every day?
I’m an Inside Sales Representative with AFC’s Business Development Center where I support independent dealers by providing superb customer service. I onboard new dealers, answer questions, and serve as the liaison between the dealer and our branches.
What is one of your favorite stories of working with an AFC dealer?
I was working with a prospective new dealer who had been in business for a little over three months. He was apprehensive of applying given his limited time as an owner and was concerned that he wouldn’t meet the qualifying criteria for an approval. With a bit of encouragement and guidance, we tailored a floorplan program to meet his business model. When I called to share the good news that his application was approved, he was overjoyed for his first floorplan.
What is the best part of working for AFC?
Every team member in my department is wonderful and inspires me to put my best foot forward. When it comes to my role, I am driven and energized by helping build the entrepreneurial dream within our communities.
How do you help our dealers achieve their goals?
I support current dealers by being available for any questions about their account and routing them to their AFC branch representative if needed. Also, I support new dealers throughout the application and onboarding process.
What are you most excited about as part of the AFC team?
At a personal level, working for the team has allowed me to develop invaluable skills such as, providing exceptional customer service, understanding different business models, problem-solving, team collaboration, time management, training skills and many others. When I think about the team as a whole, I am excited to help our dealers succeed.
What is your best piece of advice for dealers to successfully work with AFC?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions! It’s important to build a relationship with your branch so you can maximize every perk available to you. We’re here to help your business thrive.
